Part of the responsibility in the manufacturing sector was to purchase all the Company’s Personal Computers and load all the necessary software on them. Along with that was the setup and configuration of these units into a network of over 40 machines.

Training was always a big part of this process and was on going on a daily basis, troubleshooting problems and handling users' questions, problems and issues.

I was able to provide the training and guidance to novice and experienced users alike, enabling them to use their desktop computers to improve their daily workflow, and increase productivity. Some of the little things that got in the way of production, were solved by taking the time to listen and understand the problem to come up with a reasonable solution to make things better.

Over the past 20 years of volunteer service I have used these skills in helping non profit groups with Website Management, mass emailing, Excel Spreadsheet databases, Reports, Forms, Data control, Charts, Photography and Communications. A bit of teaching and spreading the knowledge along the way has paved the way for some very effective processes and tools these groups never had before. 

My passion now is to help home businesses who are lacking the help and the training they need with their routine day to day computing chores, that cost them time and money. A number of busy home businesses don't have all that much time to spare and need a little help to get them through their busy days. I can help in many cases streamline processes, fix nagging problems and provide tips and/or instructions on how to accomplish various everyday tasks in a simpler more efficient manner.
