Volunteer Affiliations
I have been an active volunteer for several organizations for the past 20 years, and had helped those organizations with his computer skills over that time. Duties included database administration, mass emailing and Webmaster of of several Websites.
I have also designed various worksheets in Excel for tracking the Baseball League's Annual registration process used by the Registrar. I have also designed spreadsheets to show divisional cost breakdowns, uniform inventory and cost analysis and shared those spreadsheets with the appropriate members of the Executive Committee of which I am a part of.
Scouts Canada - 22 years service
Past Akela (5 years) for the 1st Lakeshore Cub pack meeting out of 7th Street School in New Toronto (10 years with 1st Lakeshore Scouting in total
7 years on the Honors and Awards committee and responsible for the design of the current Honors and Awards Checklist forms used for recognizing Adult Leaders for Scouting Awards
Currently active on the West Sub Region Gilwell Committee for the past 15 years.
- Assisted with the creating and design of the 2007 and 2008 "Log and Beads" (a newspaper chronicling the events of a Leaders Scouting Weekend held at Blue Springs camp every September)
In charge of Website maintenance with updates of current information and events.
- Responsible for sending out email notices to over 700 active youth and leaders in the Area.

Awarded the Medal for Good Service to Scouting in 2004
Awarded the Ontario Volunteer Award in 2004
Received the 15 year service award for Scouting in 2008(a few years late)
Awarded Scouting's Centennial Medal in June of 2007
Awarded Scouting 20 years service Award in 2011 (a few years late again)

Credit Secondary School Alumni (12 years service)
 Gary with Nick Volpe, former School Teacher at Port Credit Secondary School's Alumni Night. The night was in honor of Nick Volpe's many great years of service as a Teacher and most notebale as our Warriors Football Coach, May 2006.

- Responsible for emailing members notices of upcoming Alumni Events and reunions
- In charge of sending database files to committee members to call the Alumnus regarding our Annual Alumni nights every May.
- Photographer at Alumni events - Photos can be viewed on the PCSS Alumni Website
- Member and registrar of the planning committee that organized the school's 90th Anniversary in May of 2010.
- Took over 650 photographs of the Alumni and special guests over the 3 day event. All the photographs are posted to the reunion website at http://pcssreunions.com/Albums.html
